'Duck Dynasty' is back, hero saves stabbing victim — and more
Shining Through: Bright spots in a chaotic world
Here are a few good news items to bring you into the weekend.
The Robertsons of “Duck Dynasty” fame announced they are bringing back their faith-filled reality show to A&E this summer with “Duck Dynasty: The Revival.”
The original show ended after 11 seasons in 2017 and was the “most-watched nonfiction series in cable history” – a shock to the secular entertainment industry because the family would openly pray at the end of every episode.
“Going back on A&E feels a little like going back home,” Willie and Korie Robertson said in a statement. “We’re thankful for all who have followed along as our family has grown and expanded and can’t wait to get cameras rolling again on all our new adventures, or perhaps misadventures.”

As the month of January comes to a close, the families of victims of the New Year’s Day terror attack in New Orleans are grappling with their grief and grasping for answers.
Cathy Tenedorio’s 25-year-old son Matthew was one of the 14 people killed in the attack on Bourbon Street in the early hours of January 1. She shared memories of her son with Billy Hallowell, explained how her faith has impacted her grief, and said she’s still without answers about how her son died.
“He just was a happy kid,” Tenedorio told CBN News of her son, reflecting on his attributes as a child and adult. “He was very expressive. He was very particular [and] meticulous.”
She continued, “He was just a wonderful, wonderful person.”

In today’s world of social media, it seems like anyone can go viral at any time, and it’s not always for the right reasons. But a young, unsuspecting Five Guys cashier is turning heads for his faith-filled response after an OnlyFans model purportedly propositioned him in a hidden video, writes CBN’s Faithwire Tré Goins-Phillips.
The explicit content creator, known as Bonnie Blue, asked the young man if he was “on the menu” and whether he would “take her out back,” but the unnamed staffer said he would not engage with her because he is a “Christian man.”
